While I have posted some good examples of bug out bags in the past, I just came across one of the better examples of a 72 hour bug out bag with a very detailed explanation of the reasoning behind each item. This is definitely a good one to keep in your bookmarks either to make sure you have everything you think you need for you bug out bag or you’re in the process of getting one started.
No need to go into much further detail here other than to say you should have a bug out bag. What you put in yours is entirely up to you and obviously depends on your particular needs, but this is a great place to start.

Thanks for the link! The most important thing about a bug out bag as that you keep it up to date and that it is ready to go at a moment’s notice! I had a fire almost take my house and I was pretty upset with myself that my bug out bag was not completely ready to go since I had some stuff out of it to take pictures. Make sure you keep it duty ready at all times!
